first, pick a game

then pick a song that somehow fits this game (preferably in a strange way)

and tell us why.

My example

Amnesia: The Dark Decent and The Longest Time by Billy Joel

why?
[spoiler/] look at this line here. "I'm that voice your hearing in the hall, and the greatest miracle of all, is that I need you, and that you needed me too..." that could be applied to Alexander and Daniels relationship :D

"or Maybe this won't last very long
But you feel so right
And I could be wrong
Maybe I've been hoping too hard
But I've gone this far
And it's more than I hoped for"

Daniel talking about how his adventure's going so far.[/spoiler]

yeah, it's really strange, and that's what I want to see from you.

I think "breaking inside" by shinedown fits Super Meat Boy rather well, as when you listen to the song, it sounds like its talking about a guy who keeps dying over and over again.

This song fits Borderlands so well, they actually used it...
Just a bunch of mercenaries finding their fortune. Because there ain't no rest for the wicked.

I think the songs from the Daedelus album Denies the Day's Demise go really well to Minecraft.

Had you heard the song before playing Borderlands? Just curious because to me, the track has an unbreakable link to the game just because that is where I first heard it.

Pretty easy one, Fallout: New Vegas with-

In fact, nearly anything from Elvis can fit that game at one point or another.

To be honest, no I hadn't heard it before Borderlands, but there are loads of songs associated with games. This one is always the first I think of, so that's got to mean something, right?

pretty much anything by Justice [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThKNt-GY1ww] and any classic Castlevania game because A) awesome goes well with awesome and B) they both have this feel of... well you know steampunk? kind of like that but with classic gothic themes instead

Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Bad Moon Rising" to The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

The opening line alone ("I see a bad moon rising / I see trouble on the way...") would fit, but then you have earthquakes and storms in the mix...
