A Question for those of you who play Demons Souls, in the game Magic is available and you can purchase new spells from a man in the nexus.

Now I bought "Cloak" first and tried using it and nothing happend, so then I tried "Flame toss" and nothing happend again. My Character is knight with 89 MP could some please explain why my spells are not working ?

its funny i beat the game twice and i never once used magic

That's weird... Maybe, increase your mana count? Maybe?

You should also ensure that you have a wand or talisman equipped.

Yeah, wand/talisman and then hold to cast. Pretty much the reason why you get quick switch slots

And yeah magic doesnt play a really large role, though it can help with things like soul arrow and then it basically acts as an exchange of arrow ranged vs magical ranged.

Are you using a catalyst? when using a spell you have to use a catalyst, or the spell doesn't work.
