How much does everyone hate those stupid ads that pop up when you try and watch a video? They dont even work properly 1/2 the time for 2 reasons.
1. Any form of lag means the add takes TWICE AS GOD DAMN LONG.
2. Its glitches up so you can start watching your video just you now have the sound from the advert overlaying the sound from the video and when the ad finishes it suddenly jumps to normal screen (it only works if you get it up to full screen.

Dont these need to be fixed?

I'd change the post before you get banned. It's not fair on The Escapist to use Adblock on their site. They earn revenue from the ads when they load. By using adblock, you are effectively stealing from the Escapist.

Is it so hard to pay $20 or something to never see them again? The Escapist needs ads because this website has a few people living off what money they earn, and therefore need to earn this money.

I dislike the Slim Jim ad. Do prepubescents really make up much of The Escapists web-traffic? I don't mind video game ads, they are at least hitting their target audience.
