I hope Im wrong about this because I have had high anticipations for The Last Guardian but I can't help but feel the game has gotten to big for its own pants. Ive watched countless videos and read up on everything about this mysterious game, and though they are trying to keep low about the game and what's in it, I feel it might fall short of its expectations.

All we have gotten from the video is a small boy climbing around with its cat bird like friend Trico. It has also shown the boy throwing stuff at and hiding from guards. If the guards are the main enemies this might end up more like ICO then Shadow of the Colossus. ICO might have been a great game but I feel if it plays more like ICO then Shadow of the Colossus it won't be as exciting.

My worries might be pointless given the bare minimum of information we have on this game. But my hopes are starting to go away with time. If you could please tell me how you feel about the game thus far. Do you agree with me, disagree, think im being silly? Anything.

Nice bump. Fumito Ueda stated outright that "the essence of the game is rather close to ICO". I don't think any of the... twelve people who've played that game will say that's a bad thing.

No not bad but would you rather have another ICO or Shadow of the Colossus? And besides the thing I was hoping for was for them to come up with something even more original then the last but it seems like they might be afraid to get out of their comfort zone and take a bigger risk.

Comfort zone? They've made two games. They were very different, with a few shared themes, like isolation and companionship. I imagine TLG will follow this trend. If anything, you seem to be pushing for them not to take risks by making "another Shadow of the Colossus".

No I was saying if they weren't going to do something totally different it should be Shadow not ICO. But I want it 2b totally new

It's going to be Ico combined with Shadow. I feel like it will suck, Medal of Honor was supposed to be Battlefield combined with Call of Duty so I have a bleak look on games now.

Come on guys. This is Team Ico we're talking about.

The game will be good. Quite possibly great.

Unfortunately it will not be coming out for PC so I may not get to play it.

I've been hoping they'd come out with another game, so I'm excited. Their games so far have been fun and unique with an interesting setting, so I'm sure I will like it, and even if it is following a similar pattern to Ico and not a brand new concept, it'll still be unique and interesting. Also, since your companion is a giant animal, it probably won't be one giant escort mission like Ico was.

The Last Guardian is my most anticipated game of this generation. To me, it's pretty much impossible for Team ICO to make a bad game. I guess TLG might not end up reaching classic status but it will definitely be damn good.

For those looking for a bit of a TLG experience very soon, check out Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom.
