So last night was the finale for the 6 episode prequel of Spartacus Gods of the Arena.
I very very much enjoyed these six episodes, it gave alot of insight into the main characters other then Spartacus. Amazing performaces by Lucy, John and Peter, and a driving plot that kept me glued these last six weeks.

Any thoughts on the shows and the future season 2 of Blood and Sand now that Andy Whitfield has officaly been replaced. -loud sob-

I haven't watched Gods of the Arena, but Blood and Sand was pretty entertaining.

I'm not sure how many people you'll catch with this title though. Few laymen would even know what a Thracian is.

Didn't watch Gods, but saw every episode of Blood and Sand. Gotta lol at 10 months between the end of season 2 and the start of season 3. The new Spartacus looks just like Whitfield. Not a fan of all the pointless sex, but I blame how crappy the sex scenes are for that.

Well Season 2 (God of the Arena) wasn't really a season 2, but a 6 episode filler between Blood and Sand 1 and Blood and Sand season 2.
