I was thinking about getting to this show when I had the time...but now I'm interested. I'll just watch the preview and...

*watches preview*

Oh. Right. I forgot. Japanese previews don't include...information. Or, apparently, any images of characters. Okay, whatever, my curiosity is piqued.

As for an anime example, I already mentioned Kuucho Buranko(aka Trapeze)

I was just pointing out rotoscoping live action doesn't make it anime. This is just some weird shit that's really terrible to watch. I've read the uncanny valley cited and my own issue with it is that without the distinctive hair + eyes + face shape thing they've got going on with anime characters these days everyone just looks like extremely ugly amorphous blobs. I think this is going to flop, and I think it should flop.
