I played every pkmn game except SS and I say: Black and White are pure C-R-A-P !

It's crap just because of new pokemons, I mean how stupid Gamefreak developers need to be to create that retarded creatures (no I won't call them pokemons and I won't accept them as pokemons). That's my opinion and I believe everyone with little taste hates new pokemons they showed to us...

Before we had nice pokemons, really cool pkmn's and now the gave us humanoid retarded monsters...

The Pokemon games are good. The anime....er...not so good. (My avatar is from the ORIGINAL series a.k.a the glory days)
Ah the glory days... Ash almost died in the very first episode. Good times, Good times.

Because Voltorb, Jynx and fucking Mr. Mime are paragons of originality, right?

The new Pokemon look really poor in my honest opinion, but the series will always have a certain charm that goes beyond nostalgia because it's fun.

Any competitive battlers, come join Pokemon Battlers of the Escapist (link missing due to inherent laziness)

I really like it and I have good memories with the old games, and shows. I've noticed though, that, as time goes on, people like it less and less, so I'm wondering how long it's going to stay around.

I love Pokemon games. I watched the first season of the anime when I was a little kid but grew out of it pretty fast. Now the show and new pokemon just feel soulless.

The game's are still fun however, I just usually end up sticking to pokemon I'm more familiar with.

I only like up to crystal version. After that i really took a 'meh' approach to it. Especially with the new villians team aqua... There plan is just.. stupid.. I couldn't get through it its so stupid to me. I just popped Crystal back in and pretended the series was dead. When heart gold and soul silver came out I picked it up so I could play it in my DS.

I liked the original show up to the pokemon league episodes. After that I got bored of it. As well all the new characters that got added pissed me off. Especially that pokemon drawer *****. Brock was about a hundred time funnier and cooler.

I was young when they first came out, and tend to just start laughing at how cheesy it is now.

Meh, I gave up Pokemon when I was 9 or 10.
Played Yu-Gi-Oh for a couple years, found it really weird, and switched to Magic, which is my current favorite.

But make no mistake, its hardcore. In Heartgold/Soulsilver, you will leave the Battle Tower as a broken person in tears.

And don't get me started on fucking Miltank.
You mean the Battle Frontier? Dude, my level 59 Tyranitar kills EVERYTHING in there, along with my level 61 Gallade. It's freaking easy mode. And for some reason, Miltank felt easy for the first time ever. I destroyed him with my Quilava.
Then I guess your either really really awesome, or really, really lucky. Since the better you do in Battle Tower, the more the game starts cheating(this is actually true). The enemy keeps hitting critical after critical, all your attacks start to miss(save for swift and faint attack), and any attack that poison/confuses/paralyzes/ect. you always inflicts the status disorder. Its ridiculous.

And Miltank crushed me. I had to grind everyone in my party to lvl 20, even getting a Gyrados. Only then was I able to beat her.

I left the games after Gold. I just can't be bothered with all the new pokémon.

The anime I left when I grew up.

I still watch old episodes of TV series (well up to the end of seires 5 where Misty and Brock leave) and have the original Theme on my MP3 player... I wanna be the very best like no one ever was, to catch them is my real test, to train em is my cause, I will travel across the land Searching far and wide, each pokemon to understand the power thats inside. POKEMON! gotta catch em, its you and me I know its my Desti... sorry I got carried away their.

Own at least one version of every game main generation... Lv 100 Tyranitar and Articuno (I Traded a Weepinbell for it) on original Silver... good times, wish my save did'nt get corrupted. Cannot wait for Black and White, some look awesome like that hawk thing and the rock thing with red crystals some look aweful like gear (nothing could be worse than Bidoof though).

I know the game gets even cheaper and cheaper, but I got to battle 53 in the one where you choose your opponent on your own with my Tyranitar, without ever losing over half my health once. Maybe the solution would be for you to get a Tyranitar of your own, with my exact moveset?
Perhaps. Thats probably why your doing so great, because I remember on my Crystal version my Tyrannatar was a tank.

The games are amazingly addictive fun.

The anime sucks a massive dong compared nowadays, compared to what I viewed as a child at least. And I grown out of the whole "cards" phase a long time ago.

I really like Pokemon. It's my favorite series of all time, and I will continue to play it until the games continue to be made.

Then I will just battle competitively. And I will continue doing that until the servers are shut down.

Games are fun, anime I couldn't care less about, manga is enjoyable enough to keep reading, everything else I don't give a fuck.
