So everyone knows Rome 2 is coming out and I know I'm excited. A lot of what's been said I like, such as ships able to be involved in land battles (landing troops from a ship during battle, catapult ships providing support), bigger cities, more fluid individual combat, a new feature to watch over the shoulder of a soldier, ect. But one thing really caught my eye, and that was when provinces were mentioned. Several regions make up a province, and you use the province to manage the regions. I don't know if this means less overall control, or just another option for how to manage your territory. If it's the former I'll be pretty annoyed.

So what about everyone else? What are you most looking forward to, and what are you most concerned about?

My thought's....

Holy fuck how is this shit going to run on my machine. Shogun 2 lags badly even on a Radeon 6870.

Really?! I've only got a Radeon4850 and it runs like a dream with maxed out settings... o_O'

OT: Yeah, I'm psyked... and I'm dreaming of expansion packs and historical battles... and trying not to get an erection! =_=

Might have a bad processor or ram, or just parts that don't run well together. Apparently the lowest settings are similar to Shogun's though, they just are able to go higher than Shogun, so you shouldn't have too many problems.

I can't wait. RTW was the game that got me into the TW series, and I've been an ardent fan ever since. I was also part of the transliteration/research for the Punic voicemod for Europa Barbarorum, and I can tell you that if there are no native voices in Vanilla, you can bet we're gonna be on that muthafukka.
