After seeing 3 commercials in a row to sue a doctor if you saw them and something went wrong with some sort of treatment, I wanted to come on here, and see if anyone had the same opinion about it as I do.
I think it is wrong for a patient to sue a doctor because their is something damaged with a replacement heart, or knee after surgery, because where would the patient be if they didnt have the surgery? If its a replacement heart they might have died, or had a heart attack. The same goes for a replacement knee, or a hip. They dont just replace knees just for the hell of it, there has to be something wrong with it in the first place.
If the equipment, such as a valve in a heart, or a knee, or a hip, fail, or is malfunctioning, then I think the company that made the equipment should pay to fix it, not the doctor that got shipped the flawed product.
Your thoughts?
