I do like having a new place to put these reviews to keep things less cluttered, but just so we're on the same page, let's review what makes a review a review.
First: facts. Opinions mean didly squat without them. If the game sucks, why does it suck? is the level design sloppy? Is the curve too hard? Or are you just a hater?
Second: opinions. Once you have your relevant data, then you can say how it made you feel and why, at the same time keeping in mind that some people do in fact like JRPG's.
Third: relevance. I predict that this will be the biggest issue for the forum in the future (all this coming from a guy who wrote a review on breakfast and a game that nobody has ever played). If you're going to write an Assassin's Creed review for practice, or if you have something new to say about it that nobody else has covered, great, go for it. If you're going to say how it's a beautifully styled, but sometimes frustratingly slow-paced with annoying AI and a twist that would make M. Night Shamalan scratch his head, then perhaps you should stop and see if this hasn't already been said eighty-seven other times before you and that you're not really contributing to the community, just being a well-crafted troll. I'm not picking on anyone, I just hope people will remember this point and when they write their review for Bioshock, they will be able to add something rather than re-hash old information.
class dismissed.
