Pretty much. Once you start selling cheats [http://store.steampowered.com/app] I'd say you've strayed into ridiculous territory.
Seriously, selling cheats for $3, a gun and hat [http://store.steampowered.com/app/55388/] for $2, other DLC that include one outfit and gun for $2... on top of a season pass that's $20 (unless that pass includes these small DLC. But I think it's only for the bigger ones).
Yeah, see, this, this right here, this is why I, and other people, have been bitching and moaning about DLC. Because we knew this would happen.
Especially since the cheats were a huge feature of the game before. Granted, there are still cheats in the game, but these ones included some cheat features one might consider integral to SR after 2.
And yeah, the Season Pass is kind of misleading. It only covers Genkibowl, the Trouble With Clones, and the third major piece (can't remember what it's called offhand). Oh, and you get ONE of the minor DLCs as a bonus. Think it's the Nyte Blade pack.
The Shark Gun is cool, but not worth a solo DLC....Oh, wait, there's a HAT as well? Sign me up!
It's funny. The one thing I wanted for SR2 was more DLC. They granted my wish, corrupt-a-wish style, by giving me less game and a ton of DLC. But if I felt ripped off by the game being gutted, why would I pay extra just to buy the other stuff?

...Saints Row The Third was amazing. Anyone who thinks otherwise is, in all probability, a ghost. Are you a ghost...?
Saints Row the Third was okay, a decent game that was a pale reflection of its predecessor. In fact, if they didn't add VTOLs and laser designators, the shallow experience probably would have been more obvious from day one. But seriously, hoverbikes, so....
I must be a ghost.
