THQ shuts down studios in Australia due to restructuring.

The gaming industry has been viewed as one of the very few industries that was seemingly "recession-proof" however THQ has had to drop off it's studios in Australia due to the need for restructuring in order to focus more on original IPs. 200 Jobs have been lost, and THQ confirmed the closure of Melbourne-based Blue Tongue Entertainment and THQ Studio Australia in Brisbane.

I didnt even know they had a studio over here (uhh well over there..on the otherside of the country and everything)

in fact I didnt even know there was ANYTHING game related in Australia

but yeah sad that people had to lose jobs
