I don't know if this would class as a habit (CrystaltheEchidna's thread) But I like to follow and continuously check my thread(s), I like to see how many people reply and view the thread. Does anyone else do this?

Mmm, not really.

If I begin a thread, I continue checking it for a few days if there have been any new posts. If no new posts have arrived within a few days, I forget it mostly, coming back to check it in a week or two. After that, only if it appears on the first page of the forum.

To a point. Once it gets over 60 or so posts I lose interest because its impossible for me to keep track of everything.

I'm still new (in my head anyway) and haven't actually started any threads yet. I do tend to follow threads I post in though.

The few times I've started a thread, I do pertty much the same.

I generally try to reply to as many people as possible, I never make boring threads *ego stroke*. so yeah I check up on it as often as I can, not obsessively mind you.

The two threads I've created have both vanished without trace so no, I don't and I can't really be bothered to bump them anyway.

I tend to post and only return to a thread if I'm quoted.

Thus, I tend to go over the top with many of my comments in the hope that they will get quoted.

I'm a bit like a kid waiting for their classroom bean project to grow. I find it hard not to respond after nearly every other post... ^^;;;

I keep an eye on all of my threads. Most times, it falls under a few distinct categories which makes me keep up with it.

- Discussion Thread: Games Monitor and reviews often fall under this header. I like to see who's getting what from a topic, and whether or not I need to clarify and adjust future writing to be more clear about certain topics.
- Curiosity Thread: I'll make these occasionally when I want to know the answer. Like the "American English or English English" thread I made ages ago. I was genuinely curious how people felt about the various dialects of the language, and how that affected their pronunciation and spelling of words.
- Fun Thread: Cockney thread. I checked the thread so much because I was constantly participating. Less so with the second coming, but I still chime in here and there.
- RP Thread: Goes without saying. I'm with goatzilla8463 on this one.

There are a few more, but that's really what I do. Most times, I just wait for my quote inbox to warn me when I'm needed or spoken to. On my, or anyone else's, thread.

If I need/want answers, like with the one I made two days ago, called "Healing a broken heart".

Both threads I created were questions, so obviously I went back to check on them. After no more posts seem to show up I pretty much forget about them though.
