And, in your defense, sometimes it is hard to be seen. You have to be loud, and good at it, like Khell_Sennet's rants, or RAK Autonomous Intelligence. The more iconic and visible you are, the easier it is to be picked up on-radar. Aside from the Fay avatar, I don't really pick you out of a crowd of posts in my mind. It's easier to see those you know to look for.

I don't know, I one-line each and every post I make. Or at least as often as I can.

Loud doesn't mean long-winded, always. It can mean iconic as well. I'd say you're pretty noticeable for it.

That's what's a little sad about the internet, you put up your opinion/idea, and you can never be sure that anyone has read it.

It also doesn't help when 10 people come into a thread and just post the same thing (albeit with different wording).

but to respond to the OP, There are quite a few penis waving essays for threads on the escapist, but this forum is a little more informed than most, that is going to come with the territory. If it is a quality point to discuss or fun people will get in on the action.

When there are a million replies (i.e. ZP feature threads) it is impossible to read through them all, especially when a good part of them are crap. The same can be said of extended posts, if it takes longer than 5 to read, it's impossible to go through.

It is obvious when people don't even read through the OP, and that bugs me too, but at least it provides for good flame targets.

A lot of people's post count-to-length of membership ratio show that the old, decrepit members actually post less than the young'ns.
