Just make it clear (again), I thought I was going to be Gibbs-slapped for my atrocious joke.

It was tempting to slap you down, I will admit. I just felt like it'd be somewhat pot-and-kettle for me to do it.

Who said anything about imperviousness? I'm a Ninja, they may think they hit me, but they didn't, I moved so fast that the air around me stayed in the same place long enough for it to just feel like they slapped me.

Unfortunately, If you havn't reached 1000posts/gone gonzo by now you probably will never be noticed, While i'm sure good threads and post may help very slightly, no one gives a(insert favored name for feces) unless your posts are plastered all over the place.

Join dates used to carry some weight when the gone Gonzo title was a rarity, but now with the flood of new members post count/frequency seems to dictate whether you are recognized.

That's a funny thing though. From the looks of things I'm one who's been here ages compared to most. I haven't gone Gonzo yet, but I still seem to be noticed.

That's true. You've been here longer than me, and I've only just seen you around here this past week.

A lot of people's post count-to-length of membership ratio show that the old, decrepit members actually post less than the young'ns.

How can you put it better than pointing at the overinflated egos of the trillions of idiots polluting livejournal or deviantart.

The internet, from sharing and discussing, has become the focal point of blowing everything out of proportions, 1st-degree analysis of everything, and teenage angst...

So, of course, everyone tends to brag too much and whore themselves for attention, simply also because our entertainment society tends slowly to keep people apart in front of screens, and let them believe we are a network together...
