Hello and welcome to another Three Episode Rule

Next under the lens is the mutant bug bashing Teraformars.

Right off the bat, the visuals for the show does not help it's case. The show has already become a joke with the poor censoring done on decapitation and dismemberment. This i guess is not surprising since Crunchyroll would have to do either the censors or an age gate but why have such horrible censors. The censors block a good chunk of the screen and feel very off. The art for it is also kind of muddy with a bit of a haze at the top of the screen and its just messy.

The plot sounds like it should be stupid silly fun but its not. Humanity over 500 years in the future is threatened by an alien virus and the only way to find a cure is to go to a terraformed mars and cultivate the virus in mutant cockroaches that can rip your head off before you blink. To counter this, the team is implanted with different insect DNA and given their abilities. This sounds like it should be almost a B movie with stupid action but it's plot is very dry in the first two episodes and in the third, when the action starts, it's not really there.

All and all, if you want insect powered humans fighting giant cockroaches, watch the OVA; there is no censor and there is a lot more fighting.

Terraformars is streaming on Crunchyroll [http://www.crunchyroll.com/terraformars] now.
