I might have to rip this off steal this idea try this out sometime. I always feel so much wiser than I was in my old internet days, when I actually paid attention to suggested videos on Youtube and thought an image URL was the path from my hard drive.

Although that was long before I joined this site, but still.

Its quite fun to go back through a lot of my old posts. Was a really good way to kill some time and just to see what the hell I was thinking about or what worried me. Its like the ultimate time capsule.

I've seen you a few times but I never really knew you. Just another reminder for me about how f*cking massive the site's community has gotten over time. I really don't know 10% of the site.

As two weeks your senior, I say good on us both for not getting banned! It seems increasingly difficult to do these days. Congratulations on sticking around despite everything.

Incidentally, your post inspired me to go back and look at my first few weeks on the forum. My first post was about the election, fervently supporting Obama, with all the naivete of one who isn't about to to face four years of political disappointment. I also find my past self describing a number of events I have no memory of whatsoever, and I can't help but wonder if I didn't just make most of them up. My writing and grammar, for better or for worse, is much the same as it was at age 15.

I am amazed I haven't been banned yet. I chalk it up to good luck and maybe the mods loving me a bit more.
