"I propose an expedition into Khedive's land then. There will be no large armies but essentially a scouting party from all of our respective nations closest to Rex."

"I would like to offer Andalus assistance to this scouting mission" Khalid spoke breaking his silence "If the Khedive's kingdom have been conquered by demons, a section of Intransigente's monks should accompany the scouting team. They have experience fighting those dark monsters and their knowledge may prove useful".

[hr]

A squadron of Andalus ships towards the port city of Gallin, the trade capital of the Republic of Torin. The commander of the squadron; captain Mussad, had but one mission and that was to establish a possible trade alliance with the Republic. Mussad had been given this honourable task by the king himself and he was determined too not fail.

Once the squadron of ships was safely docked, Mussad accompanied by several of his men made their way towards the group of Torin government officials that were waiting for them at the end of the dock. ?Greetings my Ajanib friends? Mussad spoke as he approached the officials ?I believe our kingdoms have business to discuss??

Kalia noted the different nations volunteering for the task of venturing into Khedive's lands. She appreciated their efforts but also she wondered how many of the other nations had their interests in the new lands suddenly made open by the devastation of the shadows. It wouldn't take long to assimilate the lost lands and if there was any semblance of any of the rulings family still intact then their liberation would work in their favor for the most part. Kalia knew who the perfect Anzi was for venturing into hostile lands.

"Excellent. As soon as this meeting is over then I will arrange the expedition with most haste. Would your scouts prefer to a place to meet or can I offer the hospitality of the Anzi city of Fourrah which is closest to the Khedive border. The Ursan and Kathin can investigate along the coasts. Is that good?" Kalia proposed once more.

Wynne hoped to be ignored during the process of everyone volunteering to visit Khedive lands. She knew that the Kolomen were too far away to be of use, and they had plague to deal with. She'd have to check back with the King to see if they actually even had *A* unit posted around there.

So, she sunk into her chair during this part, content to see the ever inspiring sight of several nations offering to take Khedive lands now that it was presumably empty. An oddly cynical thought, but she brushed it off, thinking about how things were going in her lands. A bit of sickness, but probably unnoticed by most around Catalan and Occitan. She sighed, softly, and spoke up finally, trying to think up the floweriest way to say 'We'r not helping!'

"Kolomen will most likely not help in this endeavor, the land is too far away, and we face a plague. We will offer to study anything of note that comes out of the expedition, however, and we will most likely see if we can scrounge up a Militia to begin offering support to other nations, who might like our magic."

Captain Corrigan, Ystotter

The mood of the South Tauq Hall grew tense; each Jennyskin was clutching their axes and maces itching for battle, and their supply of beer was running low. At first they were heading out for just that but circumstances now prevent that. What also doesn't help spirits is their guest: a finely dressed Rexian with the air and mind of a lion. He tried rallying them into taking over Tauq. It took sectioning him away from the kith to keep his words from inciting a riot. Corrigan could only shake her head at the situation she found herself in.

A few days ago rumours of monsters in the borders reached the Hall, and many of the kiths were eager to fight them and wear these beasts' pelts. Then an army of Rexians came marching through along with a Herald declaring that Khedive Rex was now under martial law to better fight these monsters. Most Rexians said that the Herald was in Mystre Mann's pocketbook judging by his need to pause before saying certain words. At first it didn't mean much to the kiths, and according to other Rexians it meant little to them as well. What they got from Mann was that certain areas were restricted altoghether; certain places were deemed illegal to travel and a serious offense.

Then came Mystre Bartleby's decree aimed right at the Jennyskin unlike the blanket declarations from Mann; his heralds said that no kith is to meet or interact with one another and doing so was punishable by 'his own special ways.' Many kiths thought the act mad and debated breaking the decree and leavem since the Rexian populace pay little heed to him anyway. But Corrigan asked that all kiths stay where they were. Captain Corrigan argued that there was no telling if Bartleby's men were stationed near them, or if a bounty encouraged them to keep tabs on them all. Nobody takes a madman seriously, so a serious madman holds the world. Garnering the most respect among Jennyskin, her words carried weight.

Then that Rexian came to her seeking protection and secrecy; urging her not even to mention who he is aloud in case somebody was watching...

Taliesin Teutorix IX, Gwynisson

With Lost Song's words, his jaw slackened and his brow furrowed. As the information settled in his head, and the attention focused on expedition instead of dealing with the beast in their city, a scowl began to paint Teutorix' face. The Taliesin got up from his seat and left the room without a word. There was little point for him to assure the others that there will be a few kiths already in the Anzi lands; they're still searching for that treasure despite them risking the nation's disposition. No, there were other pressing matters to deal with, like the Chaos beast that's loose in the city.

It wasn't too hard to find most of his escort; twelve Jennyskin Warriors in brass chain mail stood at ease in one of the palace's grand halls. One of the group immediately took notice of the Taliesin and called the others to attention.

"Your Holiness?" One asked.

"I've been told that a Cu is loose in the city." The moment those words left him, the Jennyskin eyes' widened, their faces beggaring for belief. "The council here has confirmed it, and it's up to us to kill it. I want five of you to inform Aeduan of this. We'll need extra Warriors to contain the beast, and Druids." With a nod five of the group broke ranks to head for the Hall, while the remaining seven left with Teutorix to find this Chaos beast.

It wouldn't be too hard to find a feral creature in a city like this; just look for signs of a struggle or afflicted bystanders. Granted the dark stonework may blur things if everyone was wearing black clothes, but no beast could hide here.
