Those of you in England may currently be experiancing Thunderstorms.

One just started here, all of a sudden huge bang, crash, and my dog running out of the room, it made me think, I like thunderstorms, but others don't.

So, the questoin/discussion here is: Do you like Thunderstorms, if so, why? If not, why?

I personaly like them, I just like the noise, and how the rain that usualy comes with it sounds against the roof, the windows and the ground.

Very, very frightening!

I haven't had a thunderstorm here, yet. They're pretty unnerving for me because the house 3 doors down got destroyed by lightning.

Love 'em-- basically for all the reasons you mentioned. They fill the world with fuckin vibrations, man. The air on rainy days feels charged with stormyness.

We had one in SC yesterday-- it was nice. They never last long around here, though, especially during the summer.

It's awesome. The numb sound it makes against the building, partnered with some distant thunder, makes a nice evening :3

Woo, there's one here right now. Hells yeah.

Probably really piss off everyone at the Yorkshire Show. No rain for weeks, now this.

Down in South Wales we've had simple, boring rain. Phhft. I love thunderstorms. Loudest one I ever heard was in the dead of night when my friends and I were passed out around a living room. Loudest, most almighty clap of thunder I've ever heard woke us all immediately. It was sunshine in the morning. Weird.

Yes, had one here too. I like them, provided I'm inside. Somehow makes the house seem warmer and cosier.

I love thunderstorms, except when they force me off of my computer and/or when they make my dog piss on the carpet. Listening to thunder is a very visceral experience.

Eh, they fuck with my internet and tv, and I have to let the dog in, but other than that I don't care.

Erm... it rained for a bit. I suppose that must have been it.

I love 'em. There's something awe inspiring about them.

So far just rain and thunder, sadly no epic lightning. It's at the boring shitty stage here right now where it's not at all interesting.

I love epic weather though.

I prefer rainstorms to thunder storms. My mom prefers me not to go out in the thunder and lightning, but if it's just rain, i'm free. I love the feel of a nice hard, long rain. The smell and the sound is exhilarating.

I enjoy watching thunderstorms. I sort of wish there would be more in the England.
