the band Epica recently came out with a new album called Design Your Universe. track #9 on this album is called Tides of Time, the score was actually written by a friend of mine from highschool, if any of you get a chance, give me some feedback that i could give to him to encourage him to keep writing. i think it sounds amazing ((and he's about to turn 20)) so a band like Epica, using music that a 19 year old wrote is virtually unheard of..please fellow music lovers and Escapists..give me feedback that i can give to him.

Damn, I have yet to hear Epica's new album. You said 'Tides of Time' so I was hoping they paid tribute to the music of Ecco The Dolphin. That could have been amazing. Pardon me while I go cry in a corner.

*hugs and gives a cookie to* there there, it's okay...it was originally called The Lonely Island when he wrote it if it makes you feel any better, then they changed a little bit of it..such as timings and stuff..and now it's Tides of Time

he talked to them via the guestbook...asked about time signatures and technical stuff..they liked him..gave him their personal emails..and started talking...he's pretty good friends with them actually

That's seriously awesome. I totally believe you because I know Simone hooked up with Arjen via myspace to be on 01011001. They're those tech savvy types, I guess.
