So heres a hypothetical scenario you get to stock a time capsule which will be opened by people in the far off future, it could be thousands of years, a utopian future, possibly dystopian, anything really. What do you choose using the following rules?
1. A video game regardless of pc/console
2. A completed T-series
3. A movie/or series of movies no greater than a trilogy
4. A novel
5. A comic series/graphic novel
6. An album
Here's my choices:
1. Saints Row the Third (when it comes out), straight off the bat I want the people from the future to think the 21st century was insane or at least our videogames.
2. The Wire, as a counterpoint I want the people from the future to see both a serious and realistic look at police-work and an almost Dickensian tale of the streets and epic figures like Omar Little.
3. Batman Begins/The Dark Knight/The Dark Knight Rises (again when it's out). It's Batman, the future needs to know of him, 'nuff said.
4. Slaugtherhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut, not sure why
5. Pride of Baghdad by Brian K. Vaughan I want future people to cry reading this, especially poignant as Lions or even Iraq may not exist by then.
6. I actually can't make my mind up here, yet.
