I've just started my foundation degree in Early Years and am already inundated with more work than I expected, I'm also doing Forest School Level 3, which is another year long course. Having a 3 year old son and another on the way for Christmas my plate is pretty full. It's not a question of leaving the consoles alone, that's pretty straight forward but I'd like some advice on how best to manage my time so I can make the most of my course and still have time for family.
Thanks.

The only way you can effectively manage your time is to have your priorities right. At the moment I'm studying full time, working part time, learning piano, trying to find time to go on here, playing FFXII, playing sport twice a week, watching all of House season 5 etc etc. Most of us have busy lives. Although I get the important things done every time, that being study and work. In your case, family is most important so make it your priority and dedicate a little bit of time to the other things. Even though you're not doing them as much as you'd like, the very fact you're still doing them means you'll take pleasure of them while you've still got your priorities right. It's a hard thing to learn, but most people are able to do it.

Thanks. I had planned to use my Saturdays for course work, but even they've been unusually busy since starting the course.
I guess it's like exercising, once you make the effort to start it gets easier to keep at it.
