I recently checked my Steam gameplay stats. Seems like I have spent more time on Plants vs Zombies than any other game I own. So what game have you spent suprising amounts of time on?

The Pokemon series has probably taken away over 2000 hours of my life in total.

Spelunky it's annoying and I want to beat it, but I keep making dumbass mistakes and dying.

Pokemon's sneaky like that, snatching away hundreds of hours without you even noticing. It also manages to be the only JRPG I like. Man, those games are awesome.

OT: Apparently I've spent over 500 hours on TF2. It's not all that, surprising, but that's still an awful lot of time. o_O

At least it was mostly due to playing on the bus ride to and from school for 2 hours a day.

Ironically despite owning a ton of STEAM games, and god knows how many console games, the odd thing is that it's always games that aren't tracked that keep dragging me back even at the expense of not finishing ones I started.

As far as verifyable obession on STEAM, I logged 33 hours with "Sword Of The Stars" but I guess that isn't much all told. That one represents my record on STEAM.

I was surprised to find out I had spent 66 hours on Disgaea 3, it certainly didn't feel that long. It's a good thing though, I'm not even halfway done with that game.

My brother has 900 hours in Team Fortress 2. And after adding all my steam stats, I have only 643 hours in the source engine. I bought the game in January 2008, and he bought it in august 2009. I feel insulted :(

After checking my steam stats, I have poured only 43 hours into DiRT 2. I thought it would be way more than that! EDIT: And I have it at 100% so I can't put any more hours into it :(

Disgaea hit 200 mark, I think Dragon Age will too.

I don't even want to imagine how much of my childhood went into Mario Kart (SNES) during those Summer evenings.

I don't really want to check since I love games but I hate realising how much life I'm wasting just playing puzzle quest & stuff...

That would probably make me a very sad person...

KotOR.
I don't know how many hours, but I've beaten it a total of 59 times now.
And each playthrough takes a minimum of 15-20 hours for me, depending on how I play and if I use mods.

Of all my playthroughs of the game 'd say Harvest Moon Back to Nature has eaten about a thousand hours of my life.

59 times!? You must be a huge KotOR fan. I loved it too. I dare say that 59 times deserves a medal.
I've beaten KotOR 2 around 35 times as well, but I haven't played it in the last year or so due to lack of hard drive space.
