I can't imagine a world without the sanitation and the medical tech we have now. Like say I got stuck in the 1850's if I got shot, I was pretty much loosing the arm. Or if I got sick, I might as well start to dig my grave

So I would go back in time to before time existed where nothing exploded.

I'm kinda sort of happy with Right Now. There isn't any period in the past where I would survive longer than 5 minutes without dying, being burnt at the stake or my limbs falling off from some ancient plague.

Anyway, I'd end up doing something stupid like kick-starting the Russian Revolution 200 years too early or accidently setting fire to Abraham Lincoln's mighty beard therefore causing some new and imaginative form of death and destruction in North America. Put simply, it wouldn't go well...

I'm not going to die of the plague.
White people aren't going to beat me up for not being white... at least not in SoCal.
Chances of being killed by another person are relatively slim.
People can shower daily.

I really don't think there is a time period before now that I would prefer.
