After reading a few intresting points today I got thinking.

Older people look down at these kids with black hair and a bunch of metal in their face.. But im sure in their day when they were dressing up in mod suits beating up teddy boys the older people back then were looking down at them.

Fans of classic rock from the 60s and 70s look down at these 'new bands' cos they are mass produced, simple and childish but im sure the Jazz fans that grew up in that time looked down at rock and roll because it was simple, dull and 'common'

And with that thing about making english simpler in schools.. What ever happend to the Elizabethan language?

Times change but who is going to accept it?

It's not a matter of how much of it you accept so much as it's a matter of much of it you are willing to contend and debate. That's the way I see it.

There are some changes I embrace, and others I'll fight for. For the most part, I'm pretty indifferent, sad as it may seem.

Yes. It's automatic. if you don't get it, it will grow in.

Some of these times are inevitable. Argue the point as much as you want, new bands ARE mass-produced in America (go to Scandanavia, much better there).

We can't make the English language any simpler, we're destroying it as is. Soon, LOL, you=u, and other things of the sort will be ACCEPTABLE on exams. You are right, the times have changed. People are being looked down on now will look down on the next generation, it's human psyche (although it's hard to argue music in America getting any worse).
