So my friend brought it to my attention the fact that I could type using my num pad is utterly ridiculous to him and it made me think. Over the years I have picked up a bunch of neat little tid bits of computer knowledge just by casually 'trolling' the internet and I was wondering what some of things you guys have learned are? You can really just say anything from... making words bold on this here forums to making it so that the image loads.
For typing with the num pad you make sure you have num lock on, hold alt, then type in an alt code on the num pad (not the basic number keys but the actual num pad off to the side, on some laptops the num pad numbers appear on regular keys and work only when num lock is on, Macs can't do this), you can also make cool little symbols using this like ☻.
