Next week my school will have a special Halloween day, where everyone will dress up. I want to get a really nice costume to win over everyone. Any tips? Note that my resources are limited, there are not many big costume shops around here in Stockholm that I know of, so I can't dress up as a Big Daddy or anything. And I don't have much time to put on the costume, as I have to put it on right before I go to school, so nothing with too much make-up and such. Also, I can't mess around with my hair, I have dreadlocks.

Sorry for the limitations...

If you wear this, you win. No matter what.
And it isn't hard to make.
Oh man did I get a good laugh out of that. I wonder if he can actually see out of that.

One of my professors is trying to construct a giant cat head for a Keyboard Kitty costume.

Jesus, thats hardcore
I now might wear that instead of my Dirty Harry plan

OP:Try going as someone famous, and since you got dreads, you could go as Munky or Jonathan from Korn

Go as a Castle Crasher. If anyone says their costume is better, throw them then stomp on them. Say your in character if anyone puts up a fuss about it.

Red and White striped Sweater.

Red and White striped Beanie.

Circle-rimmed Glasses

Go as Waldo. Have fun popping up in the backgrounds of peoples' photos.

you could get a red shirt some black pants and make a cut-out communicator from star trek to pin to the shirt. Though survivability in this costume is questionable.

Assuming you have a muscular figure (and long hair helps), try dressing up as Eric Draven. You'd need:

Black and white face paint
Black hair dye (preferably of the not-permanent variety)
Tight(ish) black pants
Tight long sleeve black shirt
Black boots

If I'm dressing up as anything this Halloween, it will be this.

You get to keep the dreads, and all you need is a white dress and some fake nails and blood.
And a beard.
And black.

(Ooooh, controversy!)
Nah, there aren't any religious extremists in my school, so I don't have anyone to offend.

I'm going to go as Kayne West because he's a twat donkey and so I can misquote him in hilarious ways. "Yo, I'm the greatest, motherfucking genius of a generation, fool" "George Bush doesn't care about black people" "I'm really happy for you and I'm going to let you finish..." Oh, its going to be glorious!

Get a Pedobear costume and chase girls around in it. The fun you will have will be immense.

When I was a senior in High School we had a final dance where we went in costumes. I went as the classic 1940's Invisible Man and I won first prize in best dress. It wasn't that hard eiter. All you need is:

i) Bandages. Lots and lots of bandages.
ii) Dark sunglasses
iii) A trenchcoat
iv) Gloves
v) A fedora/ wide brimmed hat
