Tips on increasing traffic?

Do you have any tips on how to spread around your website? I've spread mine around at the sites I'm member in, but other than that, I don't know where to spread it.

I mean, I am planning on making a site for a webcomic, so I am going to do what the dudes that make Marvel's Kickass did and make a Myspace page for the main character...
But like i said, I need to know what the site deals with before I can help...

Not much of a site actually, more of a blog to put up my reviews. It's not a big deal, but I'd like to spread my reviews.

Just get it advertised as many places as possible. Officially though, don't just go posting links up around here unless you like the taste of the banhammer.

Just use word of mouth. If someone likes it they'll tell their friend which will tell their friends and so on

Encourage more people to buy cars Post links here and there. In places that allow shameless self promotion post links, also tell people you know so they can pass it on etc.

Maybe try getting affiliated with other sites, you link them, they link you. If you have friends with blogs or websites, get them to link you too. Make sure to put it in your profile here at the Escapist, but don't go posting links in the forum for the sake of it, as wewontdie11 said:

Try to be inventive! Think of something new and different that will get people in to your site.

I would try sites like Digg or Stumbleupon. If you want to PM me the site, I can submit it to stumbleupon and my legion of followers will see it.
