Also some of these I outright didn't know, like Sirocco being a Gundam villain. Also, Awesome is totally a creative name. I can't think of any giant thing named the Awesome off the top of my head other than this near-progenitor of Mech fins.
And I was moreso trying to say that, no matter what, if you call a Mech an Atlas, the only thing people are going to think of is going to be Battletech, because that atlas is THE Atlas, Kerensky's own. If Titanfall's Atlas had a skull, or was designed around terror tactics or incredible armor, then I might be more keen on crying about rip-offs. While it's a bit suspect, it isn't exactly outlandish for it to be named something as obvious as that.
