I've been thinking for a long time now about gaming in Aus. I've lived here my whole life here and sinceIi was very young I've loved my gaming and have been proud no matter what comes at me. But the support within the community isn't very present if you simply look around. People here are just as passionate about gaming here as anywhere else. We have gaming stores everywhere, we even have places like the Mana Bar(still sore about being underage so I still can't check it out.)
But getting down to the point, I don't see the community unite much for our gaming as much as I thought we would. We've fought together for issues such as the R18+ games rejection by the Australian government and damn did we fight together for that. But alas we lost this battle again.
Looking at America they have the ECA, I want to know if we here in Aus have enough support to start a branch of the ECA here or a community to do just the same. I know we have the people here simply by going to any Supanova or midnight videogame release. Will you give the support to this idea to come to Australia?
