I just got a macbook pro for my 16th birthday, and, as the computer I was using before has a component failure meaning that every time I put it into sleep it goes into a coma (the legs of the table it was on snapped one day and, well you get the picture), I decided to move my music and videos over to my macbook. I have a firewire cable that connects them both, but I cannot seem to find how to transfer the files at all. As such, the cable is essentially a bright orange desk ornament. I can't bluetooth all of it over, as there are about 3.7k files and... yeah. So how do I do it?
