So I live in an apartment with 1 roommate. Been doing this for two years now, and I have one big problem with my roommate; he is very cheap/uses people. He will not pay for anything related to community items such as dish soap or toilet paper. He doesn't own any dishes or couches or any of that, and he didn't help pay for any of them.
A few days ago we ran out of toilet paper, and I told him since I have been buying it for the last year and a half it was his turn to go buy it. He left the room without replying, and went into his room and shut/locked the door.
Now I don't have to go to the bathroom yet, but i'm starting to wonder what I should do. I can't kick his ass since I need him to live here and continue paying half of the rent. I can't hold out without going to the bathroom forever either though. So should I just buy more, should I buy some and just keep it in my room maybe? If I do that with toilet paper should I start doing it with my dishes that he never washes? How about garbage bags? Should I take our only large garbage can that I bought and bring it to my room?
I just need a way to make him chip in around the house and help pay for things but i'm not sure what to do.
