I'm kind of interested, but only really cos the gameplay looks like Uncharted and being a 360/pc gamer, never been able to play uncharted.
Torture porn. Yes, that's exactly the vibe I'm getting from this: gratuitous suffering of the hot young female trying desperately to survive exageratedly gorey situations. It's not mature, it's not gritty or realistic, it's just unneccessary violence against the hot female protagonist, and that doesn't appeal to me at all.oldtaku said:Well, the game could be fun, but a lot of big game companies seem unhealthily obsessed with torture porn.
Because even if the games handle like trying to sweep up wet noodles, people will be so excited they will buy it up.Kahunaburger said:This is everything that is wrong with E3 in a nutshell.
See, the problem I have is the "excited" part. You can chastise me all you want, but I haven't seen many games that go me excited. Last couple I can think of were Saints Row: the Third and Kingdoms of Hammer Lore: Raking. The former was a huge letdown, and no amount of excitement helped with that, and I don't think the hype made KoA better. If anything, the epic promises kind of let me down, even if it's the most I've played a game in AGES.MelasZepheos said:Maybe if you went in excited and prepared that the game might be good you'd actually have a good time for once.

you will find your answer here regarding exploring:StriderShinryu said:As a long time fan of the series, I'm.. not sure. I think it looks good and I'm eager to try it out, but it also doesn't really feel like Tomb Raider to me. My Tomb Raider is one of open areas and exploration. The quiet moments mixed with tension mixed with awe. This Tomb Raider, at least as presented in this trailer, looks like constant in your face action and endless set pieces. While I'd much rather be playing as Lara than Nathan Drake, I'm still not sure that I want that.
