Boom. If it was unexpected, so I couldn't go into Steam offline, well, I have my PS2 here. I have my keyboard next to me. I have a ridiculous amount of books behind me. I'd work my way through a pile of books that've been on my to-do list for a long while. If that got boring I'd start writing or drawing, maybe even go outside for a few minutes until I realized how bright the sun was.

i've been in plenty of situations where i was unable to access the net, or even a computer, and my response was- it was really boring. -.-
I'd stay up until it goes offline, then go to bed.

I might ACTUALLY do my summer reading assignments... It'd be a first that they didn't all get done at band camp the week before school starts. Ironically, English requires an essay over the analysis (agree or disagree type of thing) given by Sparknotes, which I can only access by internet for the time being... Dilemma.
Download enough anime to keep yourself busy for a day, I still posses 50 hours of unwatched anime for dark times ie when there is no available we web connection.

I would probably go out and see some friends if they are available and hang out or maybe go and watch a movie, play the guitar, watch a DVD, read, or play a single player game or something. The internet is not the only form of entertainment out there, use this as a chance to get into new things, try out new hobbies.
Fix (glue,paint etc) my Thousand Sons and Sorcerer Lord, then go and play Warhammer Tabletop with some of my friends =) and then there's always my bike and the gym, so I think I would have it covered.

My internet was cut for two months. I played on the Wii the whole time, but eventually I got bored as Hell. I just sat by the router, waiting for the green light to come on.
Then, when we moved house again, it was off for a few weeks. That time though I had Fallout 3.

Make sure Minecraft has been updated, download some puzzles like Sudoku I can print out for tomorrow, then read webcomics until the internet (or I, whichever comes first) crashes.
If you want a suggestion you might like? There's something called "Skull-a-day" which posts pictures of skulls made out of different things. I've got the link here somewhere but my point is this site once produced a skull connect-the-dots and a papercraft skull, like origami. Print out a connect-the-dots and a few hundred papercraft skulls and spend all day making them and placing them around your house. Then perhaps someone will throw sympathy on you next time you lose your internet for a day and you can go over their house!
