I want to get a tongue piercing but my mom says that only "loose" girls get tongue piercings. Is it really for loose girls?

Tongue piercings are the only piercings that make me kind of nervous, because you can chip your teeth up pretty badly or damage your sense of taste, but if you like it, go for it.

Plenty of girls get tongue piercings, loose or not. If you're above 16, sod your mother, do what you feel like. It can always heal over if you don't like it. I'm going for a lip in a couple of weeks time meself.

I don't know,I just don't get why people would want to do it, but I don't get the attraction with putting a piece of metal in their tongue. To each his own as you said, what I find displeasing others will love.

Give yourself a week to think about it. If you still want it after the week is over go for it. It's your body and tongue piercings or any piercings for that matter are not reserved for sluts.
