No matter where you look here on The Escapist, you will find some higher being faffing about with their Pony badge. How is this "Pony Badge" achieved, though?

This is an answer which has been answered by the high Pony-Lords and Pony-Ladies. Though it's never been explained in full. So, I managed to track down high-Lady Susan Arendt and got a full explanation from her:
High Mistress Poniosity said:
Well, to achieve true poniosity, one must become one with the pony. This is not a task to be taken lightly, for it requires a dedication of purpose, a centering of soul and self that few are capable of mastering.

But as the pony teaches, simply because a thing has yet to be done, that does not mean it is undoable.
Which met with distaste from Pony-Lord Virgil:

Pony-Lord Virgil said:
You cannot achieve poniosity. Either you have it, or you do not.
Which lead to a clarification from High-Lady Mistress of Poniosity:

High Mistress of Poniosity said:
That is incorrect, Virgil. True, poniosity is a gift that some possess innately, but it is achievable.
Though this alone does not bring light onto the absolute specifics of Poniosity. In itself, Poniosity cannot be pinned to specification. By definition, Poniosity must be discovered through self-inquiry and meditation.

It is to these ends that this thread exists. May we band together and achieve this Poniosity. Not as individuals, but as Escapists! Together, we can rise from the depths of normalcy, achieve personal and universal Poniosity. We will rise above our plebian status! This thread shall be our warzone, and we will arrive at Poniosity within it. For honor! For glory! For ponies!

Escapists! Tonight, we dine with ponies!

Poniosity is only one of many paths to true power. I have discovered another, greater path: The path of the LaserKitten. For through the LaserKitten all things are made clean, all truths are made evident, and all desires are fulfilled. On the path of the LaserKitten, none can falter, none can fail.

Come now, gentlemen, let us not be hasty. Surely we can, as reasonable human beings, talk this thing through and come up with a peaceful solution. Please, do sit down and have a cup of tea...

Is there a specific reason how you got your name italicized, like that of Ex-Themis employees or oft-contributors?

"Well now," he says, a solitary piece of wheat in his mouth bobbing with each word. "I think it's time we got ourselves a pony."

I would not say the way of the Pony is a way to power, as some would state. It is simply a knowledge, an aspect, that may lie as basis for one's whole perception of the world. And from the words of the High Mistress of Poniosity, it is better to befriend the pony than seek to own it. In fact, I would extend upon this truth and say that there is no way to own the pony.

Some would argue that the Pony side is... easier, a way to greater power. Do not let this tempt you, young Horseman! Even if you should attain the rank of Poniosity, is it truly worth it? To stand far from your peers, drinking deep from the glass of loneliness? To have power limitless, in exchange for your morals? Your desires? Your very soul?

And now... on the most sacred day of the year - Friday, March 6th - we bask in the omnipotence of the Almighty Pony.

This Pony, it interests me...could it be that the carousel is the temple of the Pony? If so, I have prayed there many times (mostly along the lines of "Oh dear God, why did I get on this crazy contraption, why, why, whyyyyyyy..." ) though not for many years. If this is true, I will begin attending to this most sacred of places once more: The Indianapolis Children's Museum. Also, the local fairs and such in midwest Ohio. If one were to, say, take photos of oneself doing such an act and post them on the Escapist, would one begin the path to true poniosity? I ask merely that I might better understand the power of the Pony.

Also, I have many stuffed animals, (Though none of them ponies, for such an act of desecration would forever stain my soul) and I might have my room so arranged that they are the first thing I see when I wake up (right next to my computer, where my homepage is the Escapist and my desktop is a demotivational poster (Ninjas: They're everywhere.)). Would a picture proving such a fact prove my dedication to the cause?

Are ponies (in general) yokai? If so, are they generally well- or ill-disposed towards humans? Has the Pony ever saved a humans life? These questions burn my soul. Please answer them with gentleness and a kind heart.

Gah! What is that comic? I know I've seen it somewhere but where?
It's called 'Looking for Group'. I highly, highly recommend it.

And there's even some animated shorts, the best of which bieng the smash hit musical number 'Slaughter your World' by the Warlock Richard, seen above here achieving poniosity. Also, he happens to be the most Ultra non-me bieng in the universe. Accept him as your god.
