Tony Hawk's Shred

I was browsing through an online shop when I saw they were coming out with a new Tony Hawk game. I thought "Oh, I hope it won't have that silly skateboard peripheral as last year". Naturally I was disappointed. But I started laughing in disbelief that they will do the exact same thing at which they failed at last year. Oh well... guess if you bang your head against the wall long enough the wall will break.

I doubt i stand alone in saying that I loved the Tony Hawk games. I was very disappointed by Skate. The silliness and over the top antics of TH pro skater was the draw for me. Once playing I thought TH games had some of the best gameplay and control of any game out there. The pick up and playability was second to none. The developers did a major disservice to the franchise when they created the skateboard controller.

sadly I doubt we will ever see another proper TH game again.

I agree the Tony Hawk games had a sense of humor, while Skate was all sterile and bland.
Still, instead of focusing on the charm and keeping the great controls, they did this...
