I have to say 'Death from above' and 'Mile high club' from CoD4. Blowing away clusters of tiny little enemies with the 105mm Howitzer or blasting a body from one end of a field to the other and back with the 40mm auto-grenade launcher was so much fun.
And popping the last terrorist in 'Mile high Club' was so entertaining I'd hit him with a head shot then kill the hostage just so a could head-shot the terrorist again ( or three or four more times)

Pretty much all of Portal.
Yeah - I stopped in the wierd rooms to stare at the wall inscriptions constantly, or just said 'I wonder what happens if you do this' constantly, leading to imminent death.
:'D So much epic.

Way back in the original Half-Life, I would often stop progressing through the game when I came to a group of scientists or security guards, just so I could come up with creative ways to kill them. Such as putting Barney inside a jail made of tripmines, then making him follow me, or getting the Gauss gun to ricochet so it killed as many scientists as possible.

I love that fight in Zelda Twilight Princess when you're fighting waves of enemies riding boars who kidnapped your friend. That was fun.

The bit in Mirror's Edge you said is great fun - I like trying out different ways each time, and learning just how far I can go and how quickly. It's much better if you leap over the edge and drop through one of those pane's of glass. So exciting!

There was a level in an old wario gameboy game where you played basket ball with a boss - (actually WITH the boss- you would jump on him and he'd turn into all ball and you would slam dunk that dude)
Thank you for this wonderful memory! I forgot all about it.

OT:When I played Morrowind, I found myself avoiding the story quest, because exploring the world and working for higher ranks in all the guilds was just too much fun. I always wanted to wait for the main quest to finish, until I was king of the world anyway.

The Final Showdown in Mass Effect. You're fighting a sentient foreign machine that has the ability to wipe out the entire universe's population should you lose. The atmosphere is perfect and the feeling just sends chills down your spine.
