ever get into the bad habit of buying more games than you can finish? to make things worse I still have the habit of strechting games out

recently I added splinter cell conviction to the ever growing list..why? because it was cheap and came wih a figurine! (a figurine!!!!!) it was actually pretty funny as I was unboxing it at work

"oh whats that?"
"this? its a game..and it came with a toy!"
"oh..right ha yeah I dont know much about those things, is that for you?'
"yeah, I got it because it was cheap, on sale"
*nodds and smiles*
"I uh..didnt just get it for the toy*
*continues to nodd and smile*
"its...its not really a toy..I dont go out and buy toys...its a figurine....STOP JUDGING ME!!!" (obviously not last part wasnt there)

anyway current I have....

dead space 2
assinscreed 2
KOTOR
planescape torment

also darksiders but I was like "fuck it" and gave up, and beyond good and evil if I get it working

I bought Batman Arkham Asylum because it came with a batarang. Also its a really good game.

Anyway, happens to me often, so much I have to resist the urge to buy even cheap games.

Ive actually divided my shelf up into games I want to finish, and games I havent really played but dont care about

Want to finish

- Persona 4
- Fallout 3 (this was on the other shelf but I found its really good if you just tell the main story to go fuck itself)
- Ratchet and Clank - A Quest for Booty
- A Crack In Time

On my "I Dont care Shelf" is

SMT: Digital Devil Saga
MagnaCarta
Folklore
Dark Sector
Star Ocean: The Last Hope
Devil May Cry 1 and 2

And on my Steam Account ive got Bioshock, and thats all (of the ones ive downloaded).

PS: If anyone can give reccommend whether any of the games on my second list actually get good, id appreciate it.

Digital Devil Saga, Folklore and Devil May Cry 1 are good, at least. Digital Devil Saga 1 ends on a HUGE cliffhanger, but the sequel clears everything up. It also has that JRPG thing of taking a while before the game really gets going. Still, one of my favorite turn-based combat systems.

Folklore has weird combat. It feels like it and the levels were designed for the PS2. That's not entirely a bad thing, it's just kind of.. weird. Still, good game. Really like the visual design, music (Kenji Kawai!) and story. Completely unlike most games.

Devil May Cry 1 is a classic. Should be pretty easy to pick up and play.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope is.. not great. It's one of those games where you have to decide if you care more about the combat systems or the characters. In this case, it works if you only care about the combat. I tried to only focus on that part of the game but even then I couldn't get into it for some reason. You might have more luck, I dunno.

Devil May Cry 2, however.. ehh. Skip it. It's just worse than DMC 1, 3 and 4 in every way.

[sub](never played Dark Sector or Magna Carta, sorry)[/sub]

I've done that, but at the moment I can't really get into any game.
I don't know why, they just all seem boring to me at the moment.
