This is a suggestion to the site; 400 posts is average and saying something in that thread is like "throwing a message in a bottle into the ocean" -yahtzee? Pls give each video from popular shows their own sub-thread.

Edit: i mean the "comments" for a video or article.

Edit 2: Accidentally started 2 threads. Pls go here: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.281122-Poll-TOO-MANY-POSTS-Featured-content-needs-Sub-forums

...what are you talking about?

The "Featured Content" in the title makes me think of the front page articles, that are such categorized and organized into their respective sections. Please clarify.

Your avatar is a wildly appropriate reaction to this thread.

OT: I'm not exactly sure what you're saying. The videos already have threads for their comments. People discuss the show there. The rest of your post is Greek to me. Greek spoken by a drunken Scotsman with half a tongue and a cold.

You post in the 400 post comments thread for ZP that talks about wildly different things ? And someone actually ever notices your post?

I see your point, but I think I like the current system. You must have something wildly inflammatory or interesting for someone to notice you. Of course there might be excellent opinions that get lost in the mix, but I'm willing to accept that collateral damage in pursuit of good discussion.

...Wut?

Each video (not even each video series, each video) has their own thread. If people talk about different things that are still on-topic, you can't do anything about it. Not being noticed in a popular thread happens, you run that risk when you post in one.

I don't see why there's a problem.
