That's not so bad. I hate School Holidays when all of a sudden six A/B grade titles come out in one month and you only have enough cash for one of them! Grrrrr.

...or you have a job, and the temptation to blow your paycheck on games is all the stronger.

Yup, then you end up buying one of those titles and while saving up for the others you completely forget and don't care about the other games. Oh the days fly by.

The wide variety of options available to consumers make it very easy to feel like you made a bad choice; "analysis paralysis" and all that. It doesn't help that a lot of marketing tries to create insecurity about your choices. There's a book called The Paradox of Choice [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Paradox_of_Choice:_Why_More_Is_Less] that tries to address that (I'm not endorsing it).

Its a lot easier to make choices on a small budget. Try stopping buying games 'till the ones you want are below $20.

Ah, but you run the risk of a game you want becoming virtually impossible to find, waiting that long. Sure, it's no big deal for the more well known titles, but lesser known, niche games usually become pretty hard to find a while after release. Or so I've found.

Hahaha I currently have 40 games on my "to play pile" in my living room and I always just keep adding more for some reason.

The times of too much choice are always a boon for myself personally; there have been times where an entire year has gone by without a release I care about coming out. Which gives me plenty of time to play catch up.

I have yet to find a game that can't be picked out of Amazon's Used section. The reverse compatibility of the Wii and the fact that my next console purchase is probably going to be a PS2 means I have a lot, LOT, of catching up to do.

Screw Next-Gen, I'm sticking with my beloved bargain bin games.

I am not sure what you're trying to say slyder. Is it that there is just too many games for you to play? Or, are you trying to say that you're easily bored with games?

Either way your time line is a little wacky. Age of Conan didn't come out before Mass Effect, and Okami came out well before the other two games came out.

Don't complain, be glad you aren't in my shoes, I'm so bored I'm paying attention to forums and reading comedy/romance (manga) novels because I already read all of the action/adventure ones that don't have characters I want to strangle.

I only ever have enough spare cash to buy one, which normally leaves two other games I wanted just as much to sit on the shop shelf, away from my love.

Mass Effect for PC.
Okami for Wii.
My timelines in Australia - are correct.
