What do you guys think of those rumours? Any of them take your fancy? I'll say it now, 12, 5, 3 and 2 make me want to gouge my eyes out. 10 makes me want to shoot up a post office then shave my eyeballs with a razor.

Yes please to 7, 9 is more picture perfect, but Giamatti man! Paul Giamatti! I don't think I like the idea of Weisz as Catwoman, but it can't be as bad as Jolie instead, or Miley frickin' Cyrus as Batgirl, and Shia LeBland can come back when he makes a performance that isn't identical to his entire back catalogue of films (whew, no more coal for this hate train, let's grind it to a halt).

My faith in the validity in these rumors dropped by a great deal when they failed to spot sarcasm and irony from a distance of about two inches. Not that they were reporting to inform to begin with, but still.

Still, my inner fan devoured the rest of the article with glee.

EDIT: On second though, it may be that the writer of this article is a good deal more intelligent than I gave him credit, and knows exactly what he's writing. It's a much more amusing possibility.

well, i don't think i'm to good at this but i'll list the ones i found interesting/knew who the actors were. note that this is opinein, so if you want to get mad at me, i warned you.also most of these are hyperbole's.

Unfortunately for Mr. Bale I think a lot of people really want to see Robin in these movies. In a way, Robin is one of the most messed up things Batman has ever done (getting a teenage kid to risk his life to help him fight crime, in a way thats really twisted). While I don't hate LaBouf as much as the average person, I would say he is way too old for the role and just not right for it. I don't have a better alternative because I dont really know too many young actors. Robin should be about half of Batman's age and if the movies seem to be going with the idea that Bruce Wayne in his late twenties to early thirties? That would put Robin somewhere in the 12-16 years old age range.

Other than that, am I the only person who is sick of Johnny Depp being the answer to any role that may be described or quirky, weird, or odd? His name pops up for everything not normal. One of the reasons Heath Ledgers Joker worked so well is because nobody was expecting it.

Penguin has been done before, I'd rather see different villians.

Allegedly Christopher Nolan keeps killing any attempt of a Justice League movie so I would be ok with someone getting a shot at the Batman franchise and do a good job of it, that way the movie bosses wouldn't be afraid of Nolan's fits (IF THERE IS TRUTH TO THE STORIES IVE READ)

All of those rumores are stupid except for Jolie being Catwoman, Depp Dons Riddler's Leotard, and Hoffman Playing the Penguin.

Miley Cyrus as Batgirl? Don't make me vomit.

Cher as Catwoman? Yah, in geriatric Batman. Also, Weisz is cute, but tough she is not. Jolie can play tough. She is a great actress and she is WAY hotter than Weisz.

Shia LaBeouf is Robin? No, just no. Bale also said that when signed up for Batman that he demanded that Robin never appear in the movies. So fuck Robin. Robin sucks monkey balls.

Bale out, Worthington in as Batman? HAHAHAHAHAHA! So stupid. So damn stupid. Bale already said he is up for at least 2 more movie. He loves being Batman as he is an old school fan.

The Joker Returns? How? Who is going to top Ledger's performance and make it so similar that they don't out like a sore thumb?

Eddie Murphy to play the Riddler? Don't make me laugh. That guy is such a sorry ass has been it is not even a funny joke anymore.

I say Talia al'Ghul and Catwoman duke it out over Batman while Bane smashes everything in sight.

Cast a complete unknown, don't show him in any of the trailers, make it take everyone completely by suprise. Totally agree with you on that one, but do you think such a feat is possible these days with how freely information flows?

David Tennant would work very well as the Riddler.

But no Robin. Not now, not ever. Robin only got cool when he grew up and became Nightwing. Uh and when the second Robin got his little brains beaten in by the Joker in "A Death in The Family". That was awesome. Besides, Bale and Nolan are both against Robin ever being in the movies. They have both said it many times.

I also disagree with Jolie. I want to see a more damaged Catwoman, rather than the sexed up Michelle Pfeifer version. If Jolie can give us that, then fine but I don't think she can, she's (well for some people) too much eye candy, like playing Megan Fox for a serious role.

Agreed on Talia al'Ghul though, she needs to come into play, especially considering her father died like an extra at the start of Begins (someone had to point out that it was him to me...)

Jolie play damaged? Did you see "Girl Interrupted"? You want to see damaged? Watch that movie. She is mentally damaged to the max in that movie. She is even kinda of fugly too. Kind of like when Charlize Theron was in Monster.

I would love to see Hush as a villain in the next movie: it would maintain the dark elements very nicely. Hush and possibly Zsasz
