Before we begin, I searched and there wasn't all that much except a few years ago.
After watching Inception last night, I noted to a friend that the acting was surprisingly really good (besides Leo, that's a given). We then proceeded to list off the best actors going right now, which I've decided to share in a thread. (Also got the inspiration from the current "top 5 movies")
1) Daniel Day Lewis - the man is just incredible
2) Christian Bale
3) Leonardo DiCaprio - I struggled with this for years but he really cemented himself after Basketball Diaries
4) Brad Pitt - He's also a man crush of mine
5a) Sean Penn - Who would have thought Spicoli would be this amazing?
5b)Robert Downey Jr. - he just belongs
I know there are a ton more that I had trouble excluding but I feel it doesn't get better than these five.
Also, this isn't of "all time". Just the ones getting a bulk of work today.
