We see them. We know them. We love them.
It's been a fact for me for a while now that the bad guy in any game/film/tv program is usually by far the best character in it. Honestly there are several film/game/tv programmes I can think of right now which wouldn't have made if not for their bad guys. So come on, let's velebrate the evil dude right here and it can be anyone from and media really, from Jaffar in Aladin to The Emperor in Gladiator. My top 5 is as follows...
5. Scar from The Lion King
This guy made everyone quiver with that deadly silky-voice thing he had going on, and the scene with Mufassa will live in my heart forever.
4. Sylar from Heroes
Seriously, without this guy Heroes wouldn't have made it and to this day even his name remains as a form of slang for "Obviously a serial murderer".
3. Merrick from Being Human
Those not from the UK might not be familiar with this guy, as he stars in a BBC series. Seriously though I have yet to see the vampire overlord thing done so well (Except maybe Bill Nighy from Underworld) but not just that. This guy is so evil he borders on comedy and my girlfriend is still in shock from SPOLIER SPOILER SPOILER the scene where he stabs Nina in the kidneys.
2. Jack of Blades from Fable
This guy made the Fable series for me, eveil though he only appeared in the first one. From he ominous mask to his silky smooth English accent this guy almost, but not quite rules the roost.
1. Hannibal Lector from Damn Near Everything
This guy could put the shits up Winston Churchill. Honestly no-one deserves the top spot more than this psycho-psych-doctor than Hannibal the Cannibal himself.
