...or so says IGN: http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/100/1002631p1.html
There are two things I've noticed about this:
I own all of the top five RPGs. I have 8 games. I either have a great taste in RPGs or need to expand my horizons.
But most importantly... aside from one exception - Tales of Vesperia - I can't think of any other games that truly deserve to be on this list. Maybe Eternal Sonata at a stretch, but that's still a mere seven games after, what, 5 years? I'm sure that there are thousands of threads about this, but I think that this list really highlights the problem that is, simply, that there are simply not enough RPGs on the Xbox 360, hell, this generation.
Finally, just a wild thought that came up when writing that last sentance - the Wii and DS have a huge library of RPGs, supposedly one of the most 'hardcore' genres that are out there. So maybe when people say the Wii or DS aren't 'hardcore', they're looking in the wrong places. Just a wild point with little preparation put into it, but maybe there's some truth in it...
