I've been on GMod a lot recently and found a site in which you can download mods for it.

I have around 30 Gmod mods now and they have made it all the more fun!

Along with Gmod, I went on TexNexus and downloaded some stuff ( including an environments mod which made the game even more beautiful )

So Escapians, What is your favourite gaming modification?

Can be for ANY game what-so-ever.

I thought the "Will you marry me?" mod in Fallout 3 was a good mod.

Counter Strike
Counter Strike
Counter Strike
Counter Strike

Although, Team Fortress and Project Reality have been pretty good as well.

Not to Mention MechWarrior: Living Legends. Or how to turn Crysis into what we all want from a Mechwarrior game.

I like zombie-mod from Counter Strike.
You haven't lived untill you've run screaming through Mordor with 20 other people being chased by a 50 strong zombie horde :3

Myriad Islands for GTA SA was good, or would have been if it had ever been finished.

Point of View for HL1 was SUPERB - seriously if you have never played it GO DOWNLOAD IT!

GTA IV is fun if your making your own mods, but that's still in its early days.

I've spent countless of hours on different mods in Mount and Blade.

But I think my favourite would have to be.. the 1866 mod.

That sounds absolutely epic. I must try this.

OT: Midas Magic Spells of Aurum for Oblivion. Had a lot of interesting ways to kill people.

I couldn't get that to work for me, sadly. Ah well...

Heh, I already mentioned this in another topic and will repeat it here, my favorite is Lone Wolf for Neverwinter Nights 1, an adaptation of the gamebooks of the same name. Unfortunately, only 2 were made, but they were absolutely brilliant. If you own NWN1 and haven't played those, you owe it to yourself.

Left 4 Dead. Seeing as it's techinically nothing more than a Counter Strike mod. A damn good mod however.

Fall from Heaven 2, for Civilization 4 is pretty flipping epic. Project Reality for Battlefield 2 is beyond awesome. Think I'm going to reinstall and play it now...

And the coolest mod ever is Kung Fu 3.0 for Max Payne:

Love GMod, you can have so much fun with that game!

And, i used to like modding Tony Hawks Underground 2. Riding around online with a guitar was so much fun back in the day!

The ones i can remember;

Oscuro oblivion overhaul, for Oblivion. Makes the game much, MUCH better in everything.

Oblivion lost, for Stalker. Stalker as it was meant to be. Lots of fun.

Point defense systems, for Homeworld 2. More ships, more pewpew, more stuff to kill = fun.
