Sander Cohen from Bioshock. If anyone is ever thinking of going mentally insane, that is definately the way to do it.

Apparently everyone here missed a little title called Bubsy in 1992. This game is also known for being the best platformer and having the best mascot of any mid 90's videogame title.

1. Balthier - Final Fantasy XII.
2. Bosco - Sam and Max.
3. Satan - Sam and Max (A british, corporate Satan. Pure genius.)
4. Stan - Monkey Island.
5. Auron - Final Fantasy X.
Damn. That sounds like a good list. I prefer Western games, though. So maybe (MAYBE) take out Balthier and Auron and replace them with... maybe Roger Wilco (Space Quest) if anyone even KNOWS about him... and I guess GLaDOS, just because she's fresh and her ending credits bit sticks in my mind like military-grade caulking.

1. GladOs: Portal (The pitch-black humor coming from her is beautiful)

2. Apollo Justice: Apollo Justice-Ace Attorney (Apollo's persona is just beautiful. He actually acts like a "normal" person would react to situations he is frequently in)

3. Klavier Gavin: Apollo Justice-Ace Attorney (Prosecutor Gavin's persona is also priceless, as his rockish style of everything is awesome.)

4. Main Character: Shin Megami Tensai: Persona 3 (The nameless protagonist of Persona 3 is the very embodiment of personality, as you can create him to be whatever you wish him to be like)

5. Medea: Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess (I give this slot to her simply because I love her vast array of personalities that come out of the game)

6. Entire Cast of Shin Megami Tensai - Persona 3 (Each and every character (including the NPC's) are memorable and have such amazing personalities that I find them hard to forget)

HK-47 from the KOTOR series, hands down.

Personal favourite quote of all time from him has to be when you ask him about love:

Definition: Love, is making a shot the knees of a target, 900 meters away, using an Aratech sniper rifle and a Twilight Scope.

Also Agent 47, possibly. It can be argued that he never really expresses his personality, but I'd say the fact he's always calm and collected, sometimes business like and always one step ahead that make his personality quite the one to stand out.

Another would also be Riddick from Escape from Butcher Bay, but this extends into the filmography and generally Vin Diesels general personality as himself, so this doesn't really count.

No video game character has captured wit with badassness like Tommy Vercetti. I mean he was voiced by a goodfella. Nuff said.

Auron- FFX (three words Big Fucking Sword)
Rikku- FFX (hyper bundle of joy)
Psymon-SSX3 (how can you not love a guy who drove his BMX bike into powerpoles, snowboards without a shirt or goggles and is just off criminally insane)
Alma- (thinking of possible theme tune *shudder*.... nobodylikesyou, everyoneleftyou, theiralloutwithoutyou...havingfun. just imagine that appearing in the middle of the night i would probably soil myself)

FYI: start of a greenday song, just make it more ghostly but FUCKING Creepy Little girl.

Solid Snake has to get a mention, as does Albert Wesker. Mario clearly deserves merit, hes one of the biggest game characters ever. Even people who dont play games know him. Finally, King from Tekken. For Christs sake he has a tigers head!

Roger Wilco is indeed a memorable character, moreso for his physical humour than his spoken word.
