I would make it so that all music would come in identical, lossless form, but would NOT be free, but just very cheap.

When I was young I always saw those "skill testing questions" that you have to fill out to redeem certain prizes at various places. I always scoffed and wondered how somebody could mess up 10-(2x4). Now I'm older and I've seen people on the internets and I've learned my lesson.

...I second the Ban 4Chan...I did a paper for my Modern Literacies class over a website I had never been to...and I chose 4Chan. I sure had a ton of stuff to write about. Near the end, I'm pretty sure I linked 4Chan to Satan, Pandora's Box, and Dante's Inferno.

It's not a programming change, but I'd replace every wire connecting computers to each other in the world with fibre-optic equivalents. An increase in speed like that would completely change how we use the internet - connections would be so fast that hard drives could potentially become obsolete; you could just run applications directly from the internet.
