So one day our DM set us out on an evil campaign. We were facing a powerful government. We where outside one of the main towns. I could change shape along with another player so me and the other player go into the town. We tell the others to wait behind in the woods. We get picked up by the guards and are being searched when our thief falls off the wall he tried to climb. He then is picked up by the guards. He calls out my name and i immediately try to bluff it away. I use my mind reading to increase my bluff but the guards realize I'm doing it and try to kill me. I escape and my partner claims innocence and runs off. The thief is killed. More guards find and kill the rest of the party in the woods. (The cleric dies because he tried to climb a tree and fell to his death while the other guy was just pronounced dead).
