So I was at work and a co-worker touched my butt, I instinctively kicked him in the knee and then I started apologizing because we're weird like that and we get along that way, also since it was his last day working with us I later kicked him in the butt and threw him on the ground to say goodbye, I swear this totally is normal behaviour >_> <_<

Later I was picking some stuff up that I accidentally dropped and I accidentally touched my boss's butt while I was making the hand gestures I make when I talk, of course I got kinda nervous and everybody laughed at me because he announced it to everybody but we all had a laugh.

And finally another co-worker touched my butt and then blew a kiss at me which made me incredibly uncomfortable and also caused me to want to kick his butt but instead I just left early.

So basically touching butts can have extremely varied results as proven by a single day at work and I was wondering, in which situations is it appropriate to touch butts and which aren't?

I'm going to be honest I thought you where using "touching butts" in the same way Dodger uses it.

The only story I have to tell about this is at my old job this girl accidentally touched my butt so I turned around, and the look on her face was one of just mortification. It was hilarious.

I've never been able to work up the courage to touch another persons butt, but I think if I did it might end with a broken hand.

As for myself I don't think anyone ever has but for someone to do it completely by random who I might only barely know would be weird. If I was good friends with that person then it would be ok.

Well yes but, for example some of my co-workers touch my butt specifically to tease me and don't really mean any harm, they don't have my consent and while I sometimes over-react it doesn't really piss me off, the other guy that just does it and then kinda flirts as me is super creepy though, butt touching is a form of humour too I think, and it's also a widely accepted way of celebrating victory in sports.

Hey butt touching is a great ice breaker. I'm a guy and once in a blue moon when the stars align and the road the asgard is open, a girl will purposely pinch my behind, which will surprise me but will then lead to a conversation about how i have a cute butt and she thinks I'm cute yada yada yada i got to work late the next day.

However people nowadays being perpetually offended with social justice lynch mobs around every corner that shit can cost you your education/job/career/friends/family/even freedom, so as far as other people are concerned a minimum distance of 10 feet or more is always preferable.

Butt touching is hilarious. Especially if its butt to butt. And sometimes you win a sporting event with your best friends, and you're filled with such adulation that you have no choice but to take a big ol' grab of his butt. Then everyone's grabbing everyones butt, and you start jumping up and down. A persons butt can tell you a lot about them. One guy had a nice firm butt, and he was outgoing and worked out a lot. Another guy had a mushy butt, like jell-o.

This is much different from grabbing someone's boob, though. I was playing HVZ once in college, and I went in to tag a girl. I had my butt touched by a Japanese school teacher once during a photo line-up. My reaction could be best summed up as, "Oooooookay then." In retrospect I should have reached on back and broken his fingers, but such is the nature of regret.

When I was living in Aberystwyth, a student town known for being uber gay friendly, I got my arse pinched/touched/felt up a LOT when going out.

Heck even before, I've had quite a few female friends give a friendly pinch or whatever.

Which completely puzzles me cos I don't have a good arse at all, but whatever, if they like my booty I don't mind letting others cop a feel.

I only touch butts of friends whose permission I know I have. No, we don't say "you can touch my but", but the kind relationship we have generally makes it quite clear whether its allowed or not. Goes for both male and female friends.
